Industrial sewing operator — Mono County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Mono County, California. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line.
