VMC operator — Meigs County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Meigs County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
