Immediate opening: EHS coordinator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Bedford County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
