Plant operator — York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in York County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
