Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On a typical shift you will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket.
