Crane operator — Riley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Riley County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
