Stone mason — Somerset

Join our team: we are hiring a stone mason in Somerset, England. You will be based on a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone Your main tasks: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £17 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
