Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Baruten, Kwara State. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses.
