Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Crawford County, Ohio. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
