Vertical transportation technician — Blackford County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Blackford County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Performance bonus on top of base pay.
