Now hiring: we are hiring a production operative in Garrett County, Maryland. The job is on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station.
