Cement mason — San Augustine County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in San Augustine County, Texas. The job is on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Rotating shifts.
