Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Borough of Wigan, England. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant 5+ years on the tools preferred.
