Argon welder • Nez Perce County, Idaho

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Nez Perce County, Idaho. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
