Immediate opening: brickwork mason (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Henderson County, Illinois. You will work at a residential building site. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
