Machine operator (earthworks) — Polk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Polk County, Georgia. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly.
