Shakeout operator — Horry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Horry County, South Carolina. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together 5+ years on the tools preferred.
