Precision welder • Darke County, Ohio

Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Darke County, Ohio. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
