Mechanical press operator • Eti Osa, Lagos State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Eti Osa, Lagos State. You will work at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Full-time with occasional weekends.
