Immediate opening: grill cook (Alabama)

Join our team: we are hiring a grill cook in Jefferson County, Alabama. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Your main tasks: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
