Cook — Coal County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cook in Coal County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
