Site carpenter — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Jefferson County, Iowa. The job is at a shopfitting company. The role involves lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
