Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Love County, Oklahoma. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
