Commis chef — Guadalupe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commis chef in Guadalupe County, Texas. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
