Lorry driver — Orleans Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a container freight yard. You will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Requirements: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
