Blocklayer wanted in Pierce County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Pierce County, Washington. Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
