Vacancy available: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Polk County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy earthworks site. Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Performance bonus on top of base pay.
