Restaurant steward — Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Fayette County, Illinois. You will work at a beach resort. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Day-to-day duties: • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Clear and reset tables between covers • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
