Precision welder — Ngor-Okpala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred.
