Immediate opening: argon welding operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Richland County, Illinois. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
