Motor grader operator — Garki

Now hiring: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Garki, Jigawa State. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day-to-day duties: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
