Fusing press operator wanted in Cherry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Cherry County, Nebraska. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Rotating shifts.
