Urgent requirement: painter (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a painter in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is at a busy decorating firm. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Day to day you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
