Now hiring: we are hiring a butcher in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Performance bonus on top of base pay.
