Press operator — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will be based at an auto components factory. The role involves feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
