Industrial sewing operator — Walsh County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Walsh County, North Dakota. The job is at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Part-time with flexible hours.
