Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Indian River County, Florida. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
