Shuttering carpenter — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a residential tower site. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
