Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Lincoln County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
