Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lander County, Nevada. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode We offer $170 per day plus benefits.
