CNC milling operator • Dinwiddie County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
