Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Pershing County, Nevada. You will be based at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
