You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints.
