Glazing assistant — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Grant County, Oregon. You will work on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools 6+ years on the tools preferred.
