Vacancy available: lathe programmer-operator (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Forest County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
