CO2 welder • Ifedayo, Osun State

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Ifedayo, Osun State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours.
