Refrigeration service engineer — Grand Traverse County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade On the job you will handle: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
