Horticulturist — Avery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Avery County, North Carolina. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Rotating shifts.
