Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Floyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
