Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Wayne County, Missouri. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 6+ years on the tools preferred.
